# General Integration Information

## This guide describes the basic steps for integrating the easyVision widget into any web, CMS, or shop system.

### **Prerequisites**

The integration can be carried out in any system that allows the insertion of `<script>` tags. This includes, among others:

- Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress, TYPO3, Joomla, Drupal)
- Shop systems (e.g., Shopware, Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce)
- Custom web applications

### **Embedding the Embed Code**

The easyVision widget is integrated using a short embed code. For certain shop and CMS systems, plugins are available. You can find more information [here](https://help.sitecockpit.com/en/documentation/easyvision-integration#installlation).

#### **Inserting the Embed Code**

Insert the provided code directly before the closing `</body>` tag of your website.

Example placement:

```
    <!-- ... additional page content ... -->    <script type="module" src="https://cdn.sitecockpit.com/cdn/app.js" data-easy-vision-key="1axxxxee-xxxf-4xxx-bxx1-3xxxxxxxxxx6"></script></body></html>
```

This ensures that the widget loads correctly without affecting the loading time of the main content.

#### **Integration via the Google Tag Manager**

Alternatively, the easyVision widget can also be integrated using [Google Tag Manager (GTM)](https://help.sitecockpit.com/en/documentation/integration-easyvision/installation/google-tag-manager?hsLang=en).

### Final Check

After the integration, the following should be verified:

- Is the button and the widget displayed correctly?
- If you use easyVision for verification: has your website been successfully verified?

Depending on your system or specific integration requirements, additional adjustments may be necessary.
