Shopify

This guide explains how to integrate the SiteCockpit embed code into your Shopify store. The integration is done using the Theme Editor, by adding a custom Liquid section to the footer. Once set up, the accessibility widget will automatically load on your storefront.

Open Sales Channels

From your Shopify admin panel, open the main menu and click on:
“Sales Channels”.

Select Online Store

A new window will appear.
Now select “Online Store” as the sales channel.

Go to Themes

In the Online Store menu, click on:
“Themes”.

Customize Current Theme

You will see your currently active theme.
Click the “Customize” button to open the Theme Editor.

Add Section to Footer

Scroll down the left-hand sidebar to the bottom.
Locate the “Footer” section and click “Add section”.

Choose Custom Liquid

A new window will open.
Click on “Sections” under the search bar and select “Custom Liquid”.

Insert Embed Code

In the left sidebar under “Footer”, the Custom Liquid section will now appear.
Click it to open the settings.
Paste your embed code from the SiteCockpit dashboard into the “Liquid code” field.

Save Changes

In the top-right corner of the Theme Editor, click “Save” to finalize the integration.

Completion

You’ve successfully integrated SiteCockpit into your Shopify store.
The accessibility widget will now be visible on your storefront – by default, at the bottom right corner.
